This is getting way beyond annoying. I have gotten over 30 messages with
the ***@mm bug. The originating IP is: CPE-65-28-103-56.kc.rr.com
[65.28.103.56]). I have sent three messages to RoadRunner - this is their
domain range. No reply. Outlook stops the attachments from getting through
but right now I almost wish for a Viagra or male organ enhancement SPAM. I
know for sure that some of these messages are going out with my email as the
return address. Two have bounced back to me.

Is there any way to get the ISP to do something?

judging from hostnames in a traceroute, I bet it's Kansas City (if you decide
to track down a phone number for road runner)

I was going to write to some ISPs because of my own emails, but maybe I won't
now - since your experience is probably typical

Typical, but not wholly disspiriting. Most of my 1,000+ infected or
bounced messages were originating within the governmental offices of a
state in the US. I telephoned the state's Attorney General's office and
had a constructive conversation with a staffer there. I'm still getting
offending messages, but none of the recent ones have originated within
that state's government.

So there's hope.

So, was it KS or MO?

Not really. Instead of wasting your time and wrecking your nerves, try
MailWasher or Magic Mail.
